India is one of the most megadiverse countries ranking 8th most biodiverse in the world. With only 2.4% of the world land area, India has about 7-8% of recorded species in the world. India ranks 4th in Asia and 10th in the world in plant diversity. The number of endemic species is huge. Among amphibians, 62% are unique to India. India has 10 distinct biogeographic zones and 4 biodiversity hotspots.

Being on a wildlife safari gives one an insight into the richness of the biodiversity that India has. Added to that is the fun and satisfaction of clicking them in their natural habitat.
